Is it normal to never accept compliments?

I'm the same. I actually hate it when people complitment me. I don't like to saying anything though. I just smile and change the subject. I never think compliments toward me are sincere so I don't think thanking people for them is really necessary.

Just suck it up and say "Thanks". People rarely think they're good-looking, even if they are.

I'm sorta the same. When people compliment me on appearance or personality I just smile and give a stiff nod in aknowledgment. Now if people compliment me on artwork and food I get all happy and say thanks. To me, it's not what I am but what I do.

Yes this is normal, my girlfriend is just the same . I'll say to her your eyes are beautiful or your so cute etc. and she'll always say no i'm not you are. You should learn to accept the complements because its not about how you see yourself its about he sees you. Plus it will make you feel better about yourself

Excessive modesty is proud. Sometimes to learn accepting compliment from others is necessary.
