Every time I get ready to take a shower, I have to turn on the lights. If I leave them off, I'll feel scared. I'll feel as if someone's going to break into the window or the door or something. Basically, I just feel like I'm in a horror movie. Is this normal or not?
I didn't know that most people took showers in the dark. I always use the bathroom with the lights one, except if it's day time or if the lights are out.
No, that's weird cause everybody takes showers in the dark.

I need light to see in order to shower. How can u shower in the dark? Can't see your hand in front of your face
I find it totally normal... Ignoring the fact my bathroom has no windows, even if it did I'd shower with the lights on. I also lock the bathroom door especially when home alone. I'm scared of the same thing... I don't even like to close both eyes in the shower. Personally I delete shower is one of the most vulnerable spots! You're naked with nothing around to protect u I ur attacked. So in my oppion it's totally normal
I don't think it's normal to be afraid of that but I never take a shower with the lights off its annoying it makes me feel blind
If I didn't turn the lights on my bathroom would be completely pitch black! I'd end up having some kind of dumb accident and killing myself!
i wouldn't ever think of taking a shower in the dark, thats kinda weird to me
