If I ever have a daughter I want to name her Amy after Amy Lee of Evanescence. She is awesome. Maybe even use Lee as a middle name. I wonder if that would give the kid issues. But the band would probably be willing to autograph a copy of the birth certificate; that would be quite a novelty.
I love Evanescence <3 and Amy Lee! I think it's fine. If my parents had named me after her, I would be so happy :D lol

It really depends who you want to name your kid after, but to name it after Amy is fine.

I have a cousin named Zeplin :P I think I would like to name my kids off of video game or book characters rather than singers though
I think that would be cool. My mom named me after Aaliyah but she spelled it in a different way.

Think of the child by the time they reach about 13-15 they will probably be bad that they named you after an old outdated band that no one likes. Imagine if your mom named you after a member of kiss or something, yeah I would be mad. Name them something that has more substance than after a girl in a bad...
