I don't know the person but one of my friends says her sister-in-law is naming her first child Pringles because, when it came out, it had a little moustache like that thing on the side of a Pringles can. I am very much against this. You can't give a child a name which is a plural. The kid will have multiple personality disorder.

I think it really depends on the flavor she's choosing. Honey Mustard is cute for a girl, but not Sour Cream & Onion!

LOL did you read the "I'm a pringle in a can" story and make this up? And how was a baby born with a mustache? Well if this is true, I do agree that's weird, and that child will be embarrassed when he gets older. Pringles sounds more like a name for a pet. It doesn't matter what you name your pets because they'll never be embarrassed about their name lol
I don't understand why parents give their kids silly names which will make them more susceptible to teasing and bullying during school years and possibly beyond. Wouldn't you do everything you could to make sure your kid has the easiest time through life possible?
Or maybe I just need a sense of humour.
At least it's not "Shingles". It sounds cute, but I don't think it would be a good name for a child. If she name it that, then it might get teased. "Pringles" would make a better nickname or stage-name then for a first name. Her reason for naming it that is silly. Tell her what you think of this.

I also like some of those ghetto names, like Raquaysha, Shamelicka, Shaniqua, man, they're so funny! My Mom's manager won't hire people whose names she can't pronounce (unless they are foreigners), so giving your kid a name like that almost guarantees that their application will literally be thrown in the shredder.
Either way, choose the kid's name wisely.

That's a really bad name + nickname....For some reason it reminds me of Forrest Gump running with his leg braces. Maybe you could suggest the name Forrest? It's a little better.
