I just video taped myself playing guitar and i noticed that i move my head and my mouth at the same time with out realizing it. Am i the only one or is there anyone else out there who does the same how do i get rid of this problem
It's normal.
I play guitar myself and I do it too, it means music is in your soul. Heck I even do it when listening music or just drumming with my fingers on, say, a table.
I felt self concious moving my mouth and have trained myself to stop it while playing :) I used to make a rediculous face while a played but now its all good
Yes it is common because its brain activity.
The part of your brain that functions the process of playing guitar is very close to the movement of the mouth. If someone plays enough those two parts become somewhat fused together and that's why it happens
its because your are concentrating on your guitar playing, then you forget the control over your mouth, play easy guitar parts that you know by heart and you will not move your mouth, its just a sign of you concentrating, some ppl move their move others stick their tongue out lol its weird
Yeah it's completely normal I get how you feel . Once I videos myself playing piano And I move back and forth and do weird things with my hands lol. It's just moving to the music it means your really into it :)
