Is it normal to move on so quickly?

I dated my ex-boyfriend for 5 months. He's an awesome guy, everything I wanted in a boyfriend, the sex wasn't the best I'd ever had but it wasn't bad. He was sweet and kind and we always laughed together.

I broke up with him about a month ago because I kept thinking about the future and how our situations weren't really allowing for growth in the relationship. Soon it would've become long distance, and I've had two relationships in the past breakup over long distance. I didn't want that and ended things while we could still be friends, we even discussed that if things were different in the future and still both single maybe we'd give it another go.

Is it normal that I've already got a big crush on a new guy? This guy lives in the area I'll be moving to in a few months and is super sweet. Maybe I'm just latching on to something new to get over the hurt of ending something good, but I wondered if it was normal?

Well ... In my opinion, you did not love your ex if you could break it up because of "could be"

Regarding your question; It's only up to you, but don't hurt another person.
