Is it normal to miss your older sister's younger self ?

Is it normal that i miss my 31 year old sister when she was in her mid. twenties to late twenties , she now acts as a snob who is a Bitcy adult . A couple of years back she had an inner child ,was happier , was more genuine ,used to go shopping and clubbing ,now she is very focused on her work and more rational and more mature .I miss her old(younger) self .

    Part of me misses the way my younger brother was when he was little. He's trying to leave his inner child behind as quickly as possible as he's physically approaching adulthood. But whenever I look at him, I can't see him as anything other than the little boy I grew up playing Mario Kart with and fighting over stuffed animals with. I can even clearly remember the first day he was born. Where have the last 17 years gone?

      Oh well i feel the same way as my younger sis as well , whose 20 , and is becoming more mature (at just 20 years of age ) , it was like yesterday she was a little girl and now she is very independent , more mature .

    It's normal. Happens all the time with every single one of us. You have to accept the fact that she is grown now, she has more things to do, more things to worry about, serious responsibilities and so on. She's an adult now and you still have to accept her and love her just the way she is.

    my older brother is almost 20 and uni has just made him miserable to be around because all he does is work, xbox and see his girlfriend. He almost ignores everyone in the family.

    I don't relate that much to my older siblings, but I have a good friend that I am feeling this way about. I guess it's normal; people change. That doesn't mean I have to like it though...

    Completely normal. People can change a lot as they mature. Maybe you should let her know.
