Is it normal to meet someone and immediately bond with them?

I recently met this girl and when we started talking for the first time, it felt as if I knew her already. As we started hanging out more, we started developing "a link" I guess you could call it. I can feel what she feel's and she feel's what I feel. She went on a trip across the country not to long ago and I could still feel everything she was feeling. When she was gone, I got really sad. A bunch of weird things started happening since then. It's almost as if we've exchanged talents and ability's. We even traded handwriting styles haha. Sometimes, I'm able to know what someone is trying to say. Like one time, this guy in science was smelling one of the chemicals we were using and he was trying to figure out what it smelt like and I started smelling sharpie; Then he said exactly that which kinda freaked me out. I'll also get images of things when people are thinking of something hard enough. Anyways, if anyone knows anything about this or has experienced this themselves, I'd really like to know more. Thanks! (PS: If youre just going to give me that "It's all in your head bs I dont want to hear it)

Have you learned anything about your life's purpose?

According to some people, it's because you knew the person in a past life. Usually, lovers.

Oh, I've heard about that. Do you feel their emotions too?

It's more of her feeling my emotions, than me feeling hers.

Totally normal. It's a nice feeling isn't it? I'm like that with a friend on Tumblr, we're already on each others bucket lists haha

I wouldnt say it's a nice feeling... It's fun sometime's, but she's always scared about something, it affects me too. It's sucks when I'm trying to have a good time but it feels like I'm having a panic at every minute of the day.
