I've meet my friend over internet about 2 years ago. We're chatting almost every day, and we became great friends. ( we're both girls ). We really want to meet each other but there was only one problem. She lives in Sweden, and I live in Croatia, which is about 2000km away. So I have decided that I am actually going to visit her, I'm going over the summer with a plane, and will stay about a week with her. So my question stands, Is it normal to meet with somebody so far away if you met them on the internet? :3

    Just like the good old days of 'penfriends' but make sure you are safe and it's not a guy as canada87 said.

    I'm not joking - this has been done before, and the girl disappeared.
