Is it normal to marry your online round the world childhood sweetheart

I was eleven years old when I got the internet and met a guy in a forum for teens around the world. We kept in touch and when I was 14 we confessed our love for each other. We "dated" online off and on for several years, and I faced a lot of bullying for having an online boyfriend, and he did too.
When I graduated from high school, I decided I would work for a few months and take a trip from Canada to Australia to meet this guy. We got engaged not even a month after we met, and then I had to go home a month later. There were nine months where he was still in Australia and I was in Canada, both trying to get ready for his move to Canada.
When he got to Canada, we got married right away but then he had to go back to Australia unexpectedly due to a family emergency, and we decided to make our life in Australia.
We've now been married for two and a half years, I'm 21 and he's 24. Is it normal to marry your online -round the world- childhood sweetheart?

Happiness is never wrong...unless happiness to you is eating small children.

Oh, I forgot to add that to my story RandomJelly!! On weekends we go and eat children together, it's very sweet when he wipes the brain matter off my cheek.

Normal in the sense of normal NO...It isn't.
But it's not a bad Abnormal. It's the good kind of Abnormal. It's the kind of Not Normal which makes you happy so go with it.
Just an example; I live in Austria and 80% of Teenagers get drunk on regular basis, I don't. In that sense I am Abnormal, but that as well is a good kind of Not Normal.
Be proud that you're different and own it!

Not normal but in a good way. I think it's a bit weird that when you were 11 you liked someone 3 years older than you but as long as you liked each other
