Is it normal to make up stories to get your crush's attention?

I have a crush on this guy but i do no want to make the first move. We are really good friends and we talk on a daily basis, but sometimes i feel like he's slipping away, for instance he doesn't talk to me for a couple of days and i feel like i miss him. So, sometimes I not so much as make up stories but tweak what actually happened just a bit to make it sound more dramatic. He has a tendency to get really concerned whenever I tell him about a not so great incident that happened to me, and it makes me feel good to know that he cares about me and doesn't want me to get hurt. But lately i have been feeling like I am going to turn into a pathological liar if i dont stop. And if something does end up happening between us i dont want it to be based on lies or "white lies". Is this normal?

Not a very good idea. The thing with telling lies is you have to remember what you said, otherwise youl screw yourself. You have to tell a lie to keep the first lie going and then add a lie to that, etc. Bad news. I knew someone like that. I think its a bad idea. There's gotta be another way to get this guys attention. Do you think he would think you were cool for making stuff up? Probably not. Maybe just send a christmas card with your boobs on it :p

Its normal, But not very smart. Lies are never good in relationships. Even little white lies. What would you do if most of the things he tells you are lies?
