Recently, my friend and I have been talking on the phone more recently and to fill the silence we've started to play "games." These consist of us making up a story (always sexual) and either making it a total fantasy, or the exact opposite. It always tends to be about a date with a guy that then turns into some odd, fetish-fueled sex scene. We tend to say explicit details out loud, and I'm not sure if this is something that shouldn't be said or if it's alright. Is this normal?

    I used to have a close friend and she and I would tell each other graphic sex stories too. Not sure how normal it is though.

    It's a strange thing to do.

    But then I've heard of some friends masturbating to porn together, which I'd say is far stranger in a platonic relationship than what you're doing.
