Is it normal to make peanut butter and tabasco sandwiches?

This one time, I was really high at university, and all I had was bread, tabasco and peanut butter. So I was like, "shit, I better combine all three and eat it.", so I did, and surprisingly it was really tasty, so I've been eating them quite regularly. I've even been making toastie versions of them. However, all of my friends find it really disgusting and crazy to combine such irrelevant ingredients, but my argument is that the sweet/spicy/savoury combo is just perfect enough to work, also people drink Bloody Marys and those are way more disgusting, so what gives?

Sounds like Thai food. Try it on noodles instead of bread :-)

as the proud owner of two testicles, i can say i've tried peanut butter with every food imaginable. cream cheese is the only thing that doesn't go with it- and even that can be overcome in the form of peanut butter cheesecake! peanut butter and siracha on toast, and peanut butter on meat sandwiches, are two of my go-to's.

I had a similar experience and created a peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwich. I have been eating them every since!

My dad eats pickled asparagus and jelly sandwiches. Couldn't make this up if I tried, folks.

You're normal (especially compared to Dad!)
