Is it normal to make out with your best friend?

Okay, so a few days ago, my best friend came over and we were just goofing off in my room, being weird like we always are when we're together, and somehow we ended up making out for more than two hours.
We're both girls and we're both bi, but nothing like this had ever happened before. I mean, I had kissed her once, but it was only because she had dared me to do it. This was different. She was grabbing my butt and she took off my shirt and things like that. It was just really intimate and stuff.
I'm gonna be honest.. I have had a crush on her for a while. I ended up telling her this and she told me that she thought I was hot, but that she didn't feel the same way about me. I was okay with that. I knew that we were never gonna be together, so I ended up getting a boyfriend. The thing is we made-out while my boyfriend and I were (and we still are) dating. He doesn't know about it. He thinks I'm straight.
Now, I'm so confused. My boyfriend is a great guy, but I still like my best friend and she is a GREAT kisser.
Is this normal, or am I just a freak? :(

    considering that you are of the sexual orientation that would include each other, i would say its almost something that be expected to have happen. Now you can go on being friends with benefits or partners.
