Is it normal to make be frightened by your own look?
One night, I was home alone and really bored, so I looked at my own eyes in a mirror while I was making a "psycho face" and I became quite scared. IIN?

I think something is wrong if a person doesn't feel comfortable looking at their very own self in the mirror. I find great comfort when I look in the mirror and look into my eyes. It seems that you may be rejecting a part of yourself. You might practice looking at yourself in the mirror for short periods and build up the length of time. Else you are missing out on a great source of comfort and love from your very own self. I like to look in the mirror and say 'I love you' to myself and say other positive things to myself.
I know what you're talking about. If I stare at myself in a mirror, it creeps me out. Almost makes me feel that I'm detached from my body asking ''Who is this person?"
OMG I did the exact same thing and it scared the shit out of me, now if I look at myself closely too long in the mirror (even without my psycho face) I still feel pretty creeped out.
