My boyfriend (now ex) went to the dance without me last week. He said he would never do anything that would hurt me. But he and my best friend took drugs and got high. They were hanging out with two other couples that started making out.. So they started making out:/ So when we got back to school I broke up with him because I didn't want to get hurt again. But the next day they start dating. I still love him though. I don't like him any less than I did while we were going out and I'm extremely jealous. So tell me please...is it normal to still love your ex boyfriend after after he cheated on you?

    No. At least for me. Doesn't matter how long I've been dating someone, if they screw me over like cheating on me once we break up I shut off any emotion or feeling towards that person. Turn it into hate. Works well actually.

    You did not cheat on them they cheated on you. They are the dick but you deserve better.

    Of course. Emotions can't be turned off and on like a tap, even if someone hurts you. They're more like the tides of the sea. Your feelings will ebb eventually.
