So me and this dude have been talking for a while. He tried to commit suicide one day and I thought I was going to lose him. Therefor I confessed my feelings for him. He confessed that he loved me too. He wants to go out but he won't ask me out. We talk about it all the time. He lives in a different state so he doesn't want to go out and not seeing me in person. So we decided to date other people and try to get over each other. We still talk and stuff but it's not the same. Is it normal to just go our separate ways and forget each other?

    Careful lady proceed with caution.

    You have already stated he is suicidal if you do get together and then break up it might push him over the edge.
