Is it normal to love this world more?

Every time I dream I dream I'm living another life. I know the people and places in my dreams but outside in the real world I have no clue. What could this mean? I've heard stuff about how that could have been people and places from my "past lives" but I'm not too much into that theory. Also in these dreams I'm so much happier I feel more alive. Is it normal to love my dream life mote than my reality? Also keep in mind I don't have a bad normal life.

    Dreams are my reality
The only real kind of real fantasy
    Illusions are a common thing
I try to live in dreams
It seems as if it's meant to be.

    Dreams are my reality
    A different kind of reality
I dream of loving in the night
    And loving seems alright
    Although it's only fantasy.

If you do exist, honey don't resist
Show me a new way of loving
    Tell me that it's true
    Show me what to do
I feel something special about you.

    Dreams are my reality
    The only kind of reality
    Maybe my foolishness has past
    And maybe now at last
I'll see how a real thing can be.

    Dreams are my reality
A wonderous world where I like to be
I dream of holding you all night
    And holding you seems right
    Perhaps that's my reality.

I love my life, but I love dreaming and day dreaming too. Dreaming is a way to experience certain events that you may not or cannot experience in real life. both serve their purpose. I don't believe they have any spiritual connection though.

Yes. It's normal. Reality is a bitch compared to Dream-Worlds. ^_^
