There was this girl that I was in love with, she told me she liked me too but then never went out with me, and I mean we never went out once. She was never my girlfriend or anything but she lied and said she liked me too so she could get free stuff from me. Is this a normal thing to happen?
yea its normal to be in love with someone who doesn't love you back... just try your best to forget her And move on, the pain goes away after awhile: )
really frustrating indeed but not abnormal. We men are simple creatures and so easily manipulated by a woman who has leverage (like in your situation where her leverage is the fact that she knows you are into her). It could very well be that she is even into you at least a bit but at this point she is just enjoying the emotional and financial attention you are giving her. She is probably a confident woman who is aware of her charm so it's gonna be difficult to get out of the situation you are in and at the same time staying on her radar but at one point you have to be honest to yourself and either get serious with her on a deeper level or just move on.
Thats a horrible thing for someone to do. Lie to you only to use you. But its common. Not normal, but common. It is normal for you to have feelings for someone that might not return the same feelings back. And probably before any real love happens in your life, you might go through a few crushes that you'll experience unrequited love with, so thats also kinda common.
She used you. This has happened to many a man.
