Is it normal to love someone knowing him for only a few weeks?

About two weeks ago, I knew this guy in the internet, named L... We used to live in the same city, but 7 months ago he had to move with his family to another city, to another state. But only when he was no longer living in my city I knew him (that makes me so sad now)... We started talking, and became friends in a very short time. But lately, he is the only one who is in my head when I'm trying to sleep... he is the only one I want to talk EVERYTIME... he is the one I'm in love... So, that's why I'm here, to ask you: Is it normal to love someone knowing him for only a few weeks? 2 weeks to be more specific. Thanks ;)

    First of all, how old are you? You sound to me as though you are very young. There is a saying in English that is used to describe young people and having 'crushes' on people, thinking that it is love they are feeling but yet it is just a crush, or puppy love. I think this is what you are experiencing. You haven't even met this person in real life! You are relying on this person through a surrealistic virtual cyberspace world. Yes, I know, people have gotten married meeting on line, but they eventually do meet in person. You haven't even met this guy!! Don't be decieved by his typed words via Instant Messenger. Go and meet him. Stop wasting your time.

    It's probably more lust maybe as opposed to love. Keep getting to know him tho and eventually it will become love
