Not sure why but i love seeing fear in the eyes of animals and sometimes people when they are trying to attack me or injure me... It often makes me laugh and excites me to see that unsure/scared look in living things, especially when i'm the one causing those looks or feelings.
I suspect the reactions are missing a VERY important element of your post, ie: "when they are trying to attack me or injure me"
Without that part you would indeed seem like a nutter who enjoys instilling fear and so on in innocent or perhaps even preferring the weak or gentle.
What you describe though is -imho- a completely different ballgame. Might be mistaken but I suspect it is similar to a frequent thought/hope. Of being in a situation where there isn't any discussion about wright/wrong like indeed selfdefense or defense of someone being, dunno, raped or something. To get the chance to release all anger, all inner rage without having to hold back.. To let the demon out of his cage for once finally, and to then indeed let go of the full brunt, and indeed see in that case the WTF moment when the "bad guys" suddenly realize that they are confronting a madman who yearns for what will come.
I only had that opportunity once, while confronting a group of a-holes who never thought they would get into a real fight. They got a real shock when I went beserk, and they ran like hell. Not boasting as I must admit that I couldn't run faster than any of them so ended up having to give up and stand there foaming and cursing and bursting with anger. But hey, made 6 a-holes run in panic (just too damned fast though)

You need professional help because the mindset you describe is sadistic and cowardly.
