Everytime I get a cut, I get really excited because I love to pick my scabs. I don't really know what I like about it, but it's just so entertaining. Does anyone else have this same habit?
I don't love picking my scabs, but I feel like I have to. I have OCD, so that's why.
Yep, it's OCD and a bit of self-mutilation. I do it too. My dad picked on his ear and my sister bites her cuticles until they bleed. An MD told me that it's fairly common in surgery pts.
I don't pick at scabs but I do pinch the bumps on my arms sometimes where the follicle is. It's a form of OCD and if you don't stop you'll get bad scars that will look ugly if you do it all the time.
