Is it normal to love my friend, but love her bf more?

i love my friend (lets call her E) to death. shes bubbly and sweetand beautiful an smart. she's one of my best friends. she has this boyfriend though, who isnt even super hot smart and definitely not nice. i LOVE this guy. E seems to be oblivious since when im around the pair he's anything but nice to me. when we're alone, though, i get the vibe that he likes me. when we're alone, he's ssuuuppppeeerrrr sweet to me. i dont want to do anything because i love E, i just love jer bf more. can anyone relate?

He is your friend's boyfriend. Stay away from him. He's not worth your friendship unless you really don't care about her as much as you say you do.

seems like you are jealous of your friend, maybe having her boyfriend want you will make you feel like you are better than her, hence the thrill.it seems you wouldn't think of him this way if he wasn't your girlfriends boyfriend. its normal but its bitchy as hell

self control my ass you won't be able to. just avoid putting yourself in that situation in the first place bc I guarantee you you are heading for a drama train wreck

This is where self- control is necessary, not just virtuous. Don't lose a possible life-long friend to a fleeting fling. Then you've lost both sides

It is normal but if you really love your best friend you would try to stay away from being alone from him

If those vibes are true then what will happen if he breaks her heart and goes with you? What are the chances that that might happen to you to?

Boyfriends may come and go but true best friends stay togther forever

Sure this guy IS her boyfriend.

Now it is YOUR DECISION - - are you ready to take a chance and flirt with him?

BUT..... if you DONT want to do anything, keep your legs crossed and look the other way.
