Is it normal to love my boss like a mother?

My boss and I have become really close.She is like a second mother to me. She is always looking out for me and is protective of me. Whenever I'm sad about something shell ask me " are you okay?" If I don't tell her she looks really hurt. She told me once before that I needed someone to talk to. I think she wants me to confide in her about things. I'm 21 and she's 52. She's even told me she loved me before. And I do, I love her so much and it's hard picturing my life without her. I'm not looking for any mean or nasty comments I'm just want to see if there's anyone else who feels something similar with someone whos older than them.

    I had a boss who I was very fond of, she wasn't quite as close as what Id consider a mother but we shared personal stuff. Unfortunately she was transferred :(
    Its rare but lucky to get a boss like this, most of them are meh to downright awful.

    Not exactly normal in the sense of it being a regular occurrence, but it's not totally unheard of.

    My boss is an arrogant cunt with a false sense of entitlement. Honestly, I don't know if I'd prefer your boss or mine. When I'm done with work I just want to get the fuck out as soon as possible.

    Anyway, from my experience, it is not normal? Despite this, I am glad you have someone you could confide in.
