    I don't think Madonna gets the credit she deserves. In a then male industry, she was an absolute force of nature and I'd have her as a poster girl for feminism before some of the noted feminists. If I had daughters, I'd be more than happy if they chose her as a female role model. Without Madonna then, there'd be no Lady Gaga now.

    As for the album, it still sounds great today. With the exception of "Dear Jessie" all my favourite Madonna songs are on there. Although, I've always wondered to this day why she pronounces "softly" so weirdly in Like A Prayer. I really love the song but I always find myself listening for the bit when she sings "sorfly" and I wish I didn't.

      "Without Madonna then, there'd be no Lady Gaga now."

      For this reason alone I approve of a time-travel mission to stop Madonna before she could unleash such evil upon the world.

        Noooooooo! If there was no Lady Gaga then my family wouldn't be able to giggle everytime my mum thinks she's called Radio Gaga.

        Although, if we must erase her, can we also stop Justin Bieber's parents meeting at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance?
