I'm a man and I'll be 27 in about 2 months. I'm friends with this 18 year old girl (to be fair she's 18 and a half). We talk or text everyday on the phone and see each other 1-2 times a week. Up until now we've just been good friends. But now I think I'm starting to have feelings for her. Is it normal to have these feelings for a girl 8 years younger than me?" she's very mature, but also very innocent (relationship wise) should I back off or go for it?

    i think girls mature mentally faster than boys,so younger girls and older boys just get along better and honestly i think boys are never really mature the way girls do about certain things

    My husband is 8 years older than me. I was 19 when we met. I'm now 24. We couldn't be happier! I say go for it.

    I have a similar story to yours:) except I'm the 18 year old girl..:) I have a boyfriend and he is going to be 28 in October :0
    This relationship wonderful in my eyes. I see nothing wrong with this. We are so happy together And it's wonderful:) he is the best thing that has ever happened to me:) we've been friends for a long time and it just fell into place:) on the contrary, age has never been a problem:) it feels normal and right to be with him:) lots of couples have age differences. I'm not saying that every single one is going to work out, but Some do. I hope yours works for the better good and that you two may be very happy :) I hope this helped:) keep it up:) make her your princess and your everything :)

    of course it's normal for a old man to want a younger girl. That does not change the fact that you are to old for her. Back off and give her space. If in a year or two she wants you go for it.

    yeah go for it but you wont love her right now, love is a mutual feeling between two people! and in that amount of time you cant fall in love... i am not a beilever in this 'love at first sight' crap

    Goooooooo for it. I was 18 when I met my bf he was 27 I say it's worth it If I didn't break up with him I'd be happily married and had my third baby by now the Mormon thing But I was scared 18. Thought I needed to grow up and well I tried getting him back and he doesn't get it so that's the only. Part could happen she could get scared if things lead to being serious
