Is it normal to love furries?

Yes it is perfectly fine to like furries for whatever your reasons.
Just because there are furry fans who like the whole thing for sexual or fetish purposes doesn't mean that is also why you have to like it too.
For whatever sad reason it is just not a message that reaches out, maybe the average furry himself is to blame, the furry fandom has multiple facets and has many different people from different walks of life.
Some furries like artwork. Some like fursuits. Some are into mascot performance and found out about it that way (That's how I learned about it.) Some like sexual and fetish aspects. It doesn't follow that you have to take on all of the aspects of furries if you don't like certain parts of the furry fandom. Just like what you like.

YES! OH GOD YES! Wish more people did. It's just sex in costume really, role playing to a new level of being not quite human. So yes it's a form of Role Playing and totally normal. Enjoy! Furry/Fursuit Fan myself, I don't want to wear one but I'll be glad to endulge with someone who is wearing one and love every second of it.
