Is it normal to love a teacher?

My current science teacher is the only woman I love. She has long brown hair, gorgeous brown hair, flawless skin (and she doesn't wear makeup, not that she needs it) and she's in her mid thirties (I'm a junior in high school). Not a day passes that I don't think about her, morning, noon, and night. I've never felt this way about someone. And the stressful thing is, I think she may have some feelings for me too; albeit not as much as I for her. She looks at me and carries eye contact. Her smile glistens and the corners of her eyes squint with happiness. We talk about personally things, and even how connected we feel to one another, after school. When she says my name, it makes her as happy as it does me. I would drop everything I was doing to marry this fantastic woman, but she's married with children. I don't know what to do. Please comment with any advice.

I have a crush on my English teacher. She's like fifty, and I've met all three of her kids.

Yes this is normal, I have a crush on a maths teacher at my school even though i've never spoken to him and he's never taught me, but i can't stop thinking about him and making up scenario's in my head... ughhhhh this is actually quite annoying, why can't I ever like somebody my own age??

Do nothing. Like any crush, it will eventually fade over time. Telling her how you feel would probably serve no purpose.

Aw. That was actually really heartfelt... but unrealistic, none-the-less. Take your mind off her. Find a hobby or something else to do so you won't be thinking about her. She's married... with children...

You can't possibly imagine a real future with her, but just enjoy her class in moderation in the meantime.

    Good luck.

I've never loved a teacher but I HATED my year 6 teacher. He always shouted at us, made us work way to hard. We got homework everyday and made us read every night and he was leaving the school when our class had left for secondry school. I wish I was in the year below!

I voted abnormal because you list her looks and nothing more.

    • She is intelligent (she was valedictorian and went to an Ivy League college) and she's caring. She so interesting to just be around. Sometimes we just sit for 45 minutes and do nothing but talk and drink hot chocolate. I was with her today for an hour and a half after school ended, just talking, because being around her makes me feel better about everything. Shes funny, especially when she isnt trying to be. The moment her face lights up with laughter I cant help but light up too. Just seeing her in class can make my entire day worth getting out of bed.
