Is it normal to love a guy who you don't see

I had an awesome physical, intellictual connection with a guy I thought was my soulmate. I needed some time after a major surgery.... He left never discussed my needs or communicated with me.
I still am in love with him but he will only send me text messages & wants to only have a one way visual webcam physical relationship. I know this isn't meeting my needs but is it normal to still love this kind of guy?

    Wow, another girl who is stuck on a guy who obvious doesn't want a normal relationship and is not on the same page as you. I don't understand why good normal girls let shitty guys walk over them. In my opinion if you want something out of a relationship such as seeing them physically or exclusivity and their not willing to do so then it's sounds like a one way relationship and not a healty one. Trust me don't ever sell yourself short, there are great guys who would enjoy spending as much time with you as you would with them and in person.

    if he won't meet with you, find someone who will. there's lots of guys out there. you're not really even into the guy anymore, it's the thought of what the guy was (otherwise you wouldn't have posted here).

    letting anyone treat you like this is not normal.
