Is it normal to lose weight this way

I am trying to make the synchronized swimming team. I weight 210 and every other girl is just pushing 115...I am desperate so I've been swallowing small stones and small pebbles to make my stomach full along with some fish food for a little nutrition. So far I'm losing weight pretty quickly and i haven't been hungry...do you think this will work?

    excess weight is an evolved trait, unbalance here is pretty much designed into the food intake control system, to ask controlling an uncontrollable effect is just dismissing the problem hoping it will go away

    not gonna happen, ever (barring extraordinary willpower)

    you want to lose weight ? you only got these options

    endure hunger (proportionnal to weight loss, manageable if you don't want to lose more than 0.1 lbs/ week more than that it will be distracting)

    trick the hunger signal => fill up on extremely low energy per bulk, hard to digest foods, they are not tasty but as long as the basic daily nutrients are met hunger will be mitigated

    or you can try and wish weight away (results may vary)

    dont do that its not healthy ive heard of people eating baby powder and hair jell but i dnt get it just eat healthy and a decent amount the secret to losing weight is to come up with a diet u can live with forever u cannot live off rocks and fish food forever look up blood type diets there the best for everyone

    Eating rocks will make you more heavy. You could just drink diet soda and fill yourself that way because you'll just pee it out. Eating even small rocks can rip holes in the inside of your intestines

    That's not a good idea. I think you're going about this all wrong.

    1. Birds eat pebbles to help with digestion
    2. You're on a swim team. As long as you eat healthy, you shouldn't have to worry. Your Exercise is being taken care of due to the swimming. Swimming burns so many calories!!!!

    Wow I can relate to wanting to loose weight but eating stones and pebbles that just seems really bad news! I dont think you will be around long enough to enjoy that swimming team! That s reaaly sad I agree with everyone just be determine to loose the weight the healthy way there s alot of support online just google weight loose support!!

    I really recommend that u don't keep eating atones and stuff like that... U might end up ripping ir stomach open or something... It's a very big risk to try to lose weight that way...

  • Rocks r not good. Try salad it has almost no bad stuff unless u have dressing on it and it really fills u up. Just eat really healthy food with no sugar or enriched flour. Then exercise a lot. Don't have an eating disorder
