Is it normal to lose attraction when you find out someone likes you?

All my life, I've had crushes where they've become literally infatuations, and most of the time, I feel like I'm in love (I know I'm not, but I become very attached to the person.) Every single time I find out they're also attracted to me, it's like I lose all attraction towards them. All. I might have been "in love" one day, and emotionless and detached the next. I have such trouble dating because of this, and I don't know if it's fear of commitment or a romantic orientation.

You will have serious problems with finding love...I have a little of that in me..it comes from having rejecting cold parents

I'm not going to say it's normal or not normal...you may have some issues to deal with but they can be dealt with. Just accept yourself how you are but keep a positive attitude. Try getting to know the other person before you even think about "love". We are all people comprised of various emotions and feelings but we must be able to keep them in check especially if you are attracted to someone at work. That's my 2 cents.
