Is it normal to lose a six pack?

Ok so I'm really skinny and used to have a six pack. I've started to workout less, and drink less water. I know those are the main ways to get a six pack. But besides that is it normal to lose a six pack, and what's the best exercise besides situps to work on your abs?

    I lost my six pack once and it drove me crazy. I then checked the cooler in the back yard and there it was. When in doubt, check your cooler.

    its mostly about the food you eat... less fat and processed food, less empty calories and junk food. more protein and complex carbs, fruits and leafy veggies. its very much about everything you ingest. oh, and alcohol. i eat very healthy, have a six pack (after 2 kids) and when i quit drinking alcohol my tummy got REALLY defined. i dont even do situps.

    A six pack has nothing to do with muscle definition and everything to do with bodyfat %. So lose fat. But if your retardedly skinny you will look better if you gain bulk up and put some muscle on rather than being all spindly with your abs poking through like a holocaust victim. And it's easier to put on muscle if you aren't trying to maintain a six pack at the same time.

    Water has nothing to do with abs. Fat is accumulated and lost pretty much equally throughout the body so you may get your abs back if you reduce your body fat. Exercises are far too difficult do describe online, talk to a personal trainer or just observe at a gym.

    It's normal I think depending on how long it took to go away. If your talking your six pack went away in a day that's not normal. But some good exercises that I've used and they work are:

    Try the bicycle exercise its works great if you do it properly. I'm also real skinny and since I don't have much fat at all it isn't too hard to get a six pack to show and that should be the same for you.
