Is it normal to loose time

Okay so me and my friend went on a walk on this trail and we left at 2:30 we walked over two hours until we turned around. So that leaves the time at 4:30 And we walked back then were back and got back at 5:10 so it only took 40 minutes to walk back? Just like we lost time and don't know how so some explanations or something would be pretty cool..
Thanks

You can lose track of time. A more out there explanation would be that you went through a "glitch in time". I don't know how to best describe it but there have been many cases of strange time phenomenon.

Either you walked back through the 'Twilight Zone', or you walked back using a different, shorter route, but didn't realize it.

You can 'lose' track of time, but you can't make time 'loose'.
The fob holding the pocket watch, was 'loose'.
