Is it normal to look down at ginger people

I love red heads. Maybe because I am one, but I think it's so rude how people say mean things about people just because of their hair color.

I think they're better then the rest of us because they are very unique, you and me are just boring and common. So I'm going to say no.

Ok, now I know what Ginger people are. I had a really good friend at work with bright red hair. I thought she was awsome. She told me a story once that she was riding on a bus and was listening to some people speak Spanish. They were trashing. She understood every word they said. When it was time to get off the bus she blasted them right back in spanish. They were very embarressed. Congrats to her!!

I'm a Ginger, and I gotta say the only downside is the sunburn (from which I'm currently suffering). But I do have this connection to other gingers... Kinda like black people have that connection. (no offense to anyone)

I think a lot of dislike toward redheads must stem from a little bit of jealousy. I mean they are pretty unigue, especially considering that not all red hair is the exact same color. I have strawberry blonde and I remember I would go to school and some kids would refer to my hair as brown which offended me. I started noticing it was a lot of other girls that would say that. When I got my first boyfriend he reminded me that my hair color is very pretty and unique and anyone who wants to claim its brown is probably jealous. My boyfriend today says the same thing. If you think about it blonde and red hair are very unique. Most of the world has brown or black hair. No offense, but I think that's why girls who were a little jealous wanted to refer to my hair as brown and not even blonde. Most would say I am a red head or have blonde hair.

They're just like everybody else, and there are people of every hair and skin colour who kinda suck at life. Maybe you're just noticing the red heads more because they stand out? It's called a perception bias, maybe spend a day looking for brunetts who suck at life. Might help you with that little bias problem.

It's normal, I teased the hell out of them in elementary school as a little kid. There are expressions like, "I'll beat you like a redheaded stepchild" because a lot of people agree.
I know now that it's wrong, but a lot of people do really hate gingers. The only thing I have against them in this day and age is carrot top, the horrible comedian. I hate him.....
