Is it normal to live on a farm and eat turnips?

is it normal to have all 3 of these: 1. be a driver as occupation, 2. have turnips as my favorite food, 3. live on a rural farm in the countryside?

Turnips are absolutely deli pickups and they make a pretty good substitute for potatoes. I can see why they would be your favourites.

I can't remember the rest of your post (sorry about that!) because as soon as I saw the bit about turnips, my heart was set, I couldn't resist.

I think turnips taste the way that fireworks smell.

I'm sorry, but I just have to ask.... Is there any reason to think it's not normal???
I live in the city and LOVE cabbage. Properly cooked the German way... But still love it. I wouldn't think it's abnormal for me.
