Is it normal to listen to two songs at the same time?

Sometimes, when working on the computer, I have an internet browser open with multiple tabs with YouTube videos of songs. I sometimes like to listen to two at the same time, get a sort of "mix" going. Or sometimes I do this just for fun to see the result. It's pretty cool.

Is this ingenious practice done by anyone else but me?

the band "flaming lips" released a 4 cd album called "Zaireeka" in which you are supposed to play all 4 discs simultaneously on different cd players. I have never heard it cuz i dont have 4 cd players plus it sounds too much like hard work, but at least they are doing something weird and original.

  • Look up instrumentals, then look up a song with softer tones to the instruments. Combine them and create a new song!

I like music, but I can't do that. If it isn't properly mixed, it sounds like garbage.

    IMO, you're committing sacrilege.
