Is it normal to listen to music when i'm down?
When ever I have a Crapy day or get dumped or something like that music always saves me, almost like we couldn't be a ligit, happy, race?

yep. i think i would be a completely different person without music in my life. it cheers me up, it inspires me, it makes me feel alive. music is a beutiful thing :)
Hell, me and quite a few of my friends would lose our minds if not for music- it can help a person with just about anything.
I got talking to a girl in a bar and she asked me to tell her one random thing about myself, which I did, and then I asked her to return the favour. She said, "My headphones save my life". If she'd have been single, she'd be Mrs. Dappled by now.
It's normal. Music helps me through everything! When I'm sad, when I feel lonely, when I'm pissed off, when I'm happy, tired/sleepy, or stressed. I turn my music on. I listen, I relate, and I start to feel better.
Which reminds me, last night I was feeling down in the dumps. My friend was telling me about how great her boyfriend is, blah, blah, blah... I was happy for her, but felt kinda alone. I turned on cary brothers: Lonliest girl in the world.
Point is, that there is a song out there, for EVERY situation imaginable. Anything you feel. I bet there are lyrics to those feelings. And you'll find a way to relate. You might not recover completely, but you'll feel somewhat better.
Today I left for work this morning feeling tired and kinda sick, I played a more upbeat song to help take my mind off of it. It worked. Maybe not a lot. I mean, I still felt sick, but it took my mind away from it a little bit. By the end of the day, I was feeling much better. I turned on Mike Posner: Bow chicka wow wow! Yeah, I can be a little bipolar with the tunes, but I don't care. I'm sensitive to music. I feel music.
