So the other day I had some friends over to watch the game and play XBOX. My stereo was cranked up and music was playing. My boy's started to heckle me because the playlist went from "Red Ragtop" by Tim Mcgraw to "Miss Me" by Drake and Lil' Wayne to "Fake It" by Seether. They called me a poser but I don't think I am. Is that normal?

I listen to Frank Zappa. If I listened to people's opinion about the music I like, I'd never listen to anything.
Keep listening your stuff, I'll keep listening mine. I really don't see the point of forcing your musical tastes on someone else: it's so personal it makes no sense at all to argue about it.
Point is: your playlist is fine, listen to what you want, when you want and don't listen to anyone saying you shouldn't listen to it. Even that guy justin bieber: I don't see what the fuss is all about; ok, the lyrics are total shit, but the guy's got a nice voice and I'd love to hear him sing some "serious" songs if he wasn't a total douche.
