My 2 best friends in the world are brothers and they have a sister 2 years younger than us (1yr younger than 1 of the brothers) but we all always hang out and im pretty sure she likes me but im starting to have feelings for her. Shes like a sister to me but i like her more than that so Is That Normal?
Why do people have this notion that affection is limited to complete strangers that have no connections to them?
To answer your question: She's a girl and your a guy. It's normal to have affections for her.
Have you never heard of the bro code? The bro code specifically states:
If a girl falls into the following criteria, she is off limits forever until the end of time:
A. Was an ex-girlfriend.
B. Your friend specifically told you he wanted her.
C. Is you're buddy's sister.
I say tell your friends. I used to "date" (read fuck) my buddy's sister. Worse: i lived in the very same house as her and my buddy and their dad loll. He never knew it, i guess he still has no idea. But i feel a little ashamed because he's my friend and i feel like i'm lieing to him even if i just dont say the truth.
I broke the code and went out with a good friend's half-sister. Worse still, this appeared to highlight some unresolved attraction he had towards his sister. He was utterly unable to control his jealousy. The fallout was not pretty but at least it gave everyone something to talk about that year.
Would I do it all again? I was in love with her and we had a lot of fun, but no.
