Is it normal to like your best friend?

I have this really good friend Emma and we have known each other for a couple years. Me and her always like to mess around with each other in class. She is the perfect girl for me, but i dont know is she feels the same way. People always say we have a crush on eachother but idk if its true. INN?

The worst thing that can come out of this is she will quit wanting to be friends with you if she doesn't feel the same way. Trust me, this is how I lost my best friend for two months. I told her I had feelings for her, she didn't feel the same way, and she quit being my friend. That was literally the worst two months of my life without having her in it. We finally made up and became friends again after a lot of drama. The next two months weren't very good either. We didn't talk as much and things were different, but finally everything is back to normal and we're talking all the time again. :) So I'm glad I told her how I felt because it was driving me crazy every day. So I think you should still tell her, but be warned. You never know what might happen. :-

I hate that that happened, I'm in a similar situation now except we actually did go out for a few months but odd things happened that made us split up. We were good friends for a short while after but then she started to prioritize school and new friends over me by not responding to my messages. I told her how I felt about it but she felt she wasn't doing anything wrong. Now things are in a state of daily silence compared to near everyday contact. We're talking BEST and insanely close friend since high school so there is no need for some odd break in friendship. There is more to it but no need to go into that detail.

Your situation is odd though, she had no reason to do that, the worst that should have happened is that she kindly declined and you two kept being friends. Was she repulsed at the idea and just rudely ran for the hills?

This is one of those most common IIN questions indeed. Very normal and very common, yes~ Go for it, you must. Don't waste time, you musn't. Regret it, you musn't. Liked Emma from MGS2, I did. The worst is that she'll say no and be friends, she will. The best is that you'll increase the human population 10 times over, you will.

Seriously, I've had it happen twice, you already know a crap ton about each other and obviously enjoy each other's company from being friends for so long, its easy for an attraction to start from all that. Its the best kind too since you already know you two can have fun regardless.
