Is it normal to like when people underestimate me?

I like when people conclude wrong assumptions about my qualities i.e. when they underestimate me. I don't the reason but usually people tend to give preconceived opinion about me which disappoints me. They don't seem to see my capability and potential. But inside i get excite and eager to demonstrate my true colors. I succeed in majority of times. Thus is it normal to like to be underestimated by others?

You don't like to be underestimated, you just like to impress people and it's easier to do if they underestimate you. Normal.

I think my maternal grandmother has been the only one to do this with me. She is so negative. Most of the people that I have met, seem to expect great things from me.

Certainly a helpful way of handling things. I bet it isn't very common, though.

If you live your life as incoherently as you wrote this post, I can see how you are constantly underestimated. I think you are a total moron from your post, and it would take a considerable amount of effort to change my mind.
