Is it normal to like two people at the same time?

There is this girl that I really like (let's call her Ashley), but she likes someone else. Another girl (let's call her Jessica) has told me who she likes, and is very supportive of me, encouraging me to ask Ashley out, and convincing me I have a chance at her.

The problem is this: I think I might like Jessica. She is good to be around with, she has a good sense of humour, and is really kind. Ashley, despite the fact I have known her for several years, don't really know what her personality is like. I've known Jessica for about 4 years, and I feel really relaxed when I'm around Jessica. I can't even talk to Ashley, as I feel I will make a fool of myself.

Jessica is dating a friend of mine (let's call him Dave), and their relationship hasn't really been smooth sailing most recently.

I think the real question is this: do I like two girls?? Is anybody else in the same situation here??

    Dude I'm right there with you, I've been dating a girl for like 7 months and things are going well. But one of my best friends is a girl and I think I'm starting to like her, and she told me that she likes me. But then she also said not to rush and make a decision, that the last thing that she wants is for me to regret whatever choice I make. It's so hard to choose!!!

      jgfutbol, It's drives us both crazy. I guess I'm in the same situation, aside the whole dating thing. Me and Ashley are into otaku-geek sort of things.

      yeah i think i might have the same problem i really like this one guy cos he can be really sweet but he can also be quite mean and the other guy is clever sweet and funny but i never talk to him. What should i do?
