It seems I am the only person who listens to modern rock. Most of my friends listen to rap or pop, and the few people I know that actually like rock music listen to classic rock or screamo. Am I the only person that enjoys bands such as Three Days Grace, Trapt, Sum 41, Rise Against, Five Finger Death Punch, and Breaking Benjamin?
I love every band you just listed. You're normal. Everyone's opinions will differ.

I think you're the stupid ones? Do you really think I thought I was the only one? It was a figure of speech, of course I know that I'm not their only fan. I think you need to learn not to take everything literally. If someone says something took forever, do you immediately criticize them because it wasn't actually forever?

If the music is in any way publicised, then there are other people who like it. The only things you'd be alone in liking is the one-eyed woman who sits in front of Debenhams with a penny whistle and a tramp who says "rooty tooty toot". I think that's just me.
