Is it normal to like thinking of burial as it makes me feel "safe"?

I like the thought of being buried as, im not sure why, i find the thought of be buried under 6 feet of dirt makes me feel quite "safe", I'm not sure why, but I feel "safe and sound" when i think of being buried under 6 feet of ground.

I think it might be because i think being buried will make it hard for me disturbed, i want me body to rest whilst i'm in the afterlife! I will rest undisturbed in me grave, i think that's why i feel "safe" when i think of being buried.

    I feel the opposite. I for one don't believe in an afterlife, however, I can sort of see your point. For me, being cremated is the "safer" bet. In your grave your body rots. Your skin tightens up, your eyeballs will shrivel and become deformed, your casket will stink of human remains, and your body itself will look so strange. But being cremated is different, a quick blast in the furnace and your body is a nothing but ash. An ash that can sway in the wind and carry the memories that once told the story of "you".

    I can relate, but I don't feel safe very often. Do you have trouble feeling safe?

    I don't believe in afterlife, but when i'm dead, I want to be buried too. The though of knowing that my entire body will be rotting and shrivelling and all worms fed on my decayed corpse doesn't bother me at all. It's gross, yeah but It's normal. Every living creatures should end up like this.

      that still don't scare me, im still gonna be buried and fine with it, ill be in the afterlife

      i'd rather remain ignorant as to what will happen to me, i know me vehicle will be a skeleton one day, just like the vehicles of me past lives, sometimes i wonder where they are, i'd like to visit the graves of bodies i used to live in

        Chassis, rolling or not, would be better kept in a garage, not a grave. Maybe someone will restorect one of your past me's.

          I don't think it's likely, unless there is a zombie apocalypse, in which case "I" (as in the bodies which used to be "me") may return, I do not know which ones they would be, I have no memories of me past lives =(

          sorry, Mother Earth has taken them back, and I don't think she wants to resurrect them, why would she have to? I am back in this form now! But I'd love to visit the graves of bodies which I used to live in at one point! Is that normal?
