Is it normal to like the smell of cow manure?

It reminds me of home... I enjoy the smell when I drive by a cow farm. I don't like it when it's way too potent though, but it rarely is for me.

I'm guessing you grew up on a farm. Don't know of anyone personally that likes the smell but each to their own

Nope, I grew up in a city. I just remember driving by those places when in my parent's car as a kid usually on the freeway, so whenever I smell it I think of home. Plus I really do like the smell.

I guess... I mean if it reminds you of home (Why do you have cow menure in your house?) I think it's not as bad as human waste. But my friend likes it a little bit but he thinks they should sell cow menure plugins

Manure? Eh. I mean I'd you said the smell of fresh cut grass or something it wouldn't seem so odd. But your a association with home and a certain smell is normal

I remember reading a story last year about a guy some farmers found on their farm rolling around masturbating in their cow manure. They got a court order that said he had to stay away but he came back a few months later. Your not him are you?

No, I like it in a normal way according to everyone here - associating smells with memories. Can you please find this story for me? It is hilarious and I would really like to read it.

Have you ever put some in a box so you can take the smell everywhere?

No, the thought never crossed my mind because I don't believe that would work. The smell is not pleasant when it's very potent and I'm sure that would ferment it and make it much more potent.

The smell doesn't bother me, not anymore.

Yes it did when I was a kid but I've smelled far worse since then.

    Sounds fine to me.

My dog got poo stuck in her hair I had to give her a bath. It was horrible I gagged a few times. The bath doesn't drain fast enough so there was poo floating around everywhere.

As one other person stated here, cows are herbivores, so it's not as bad of a stink as carnivores or omnivores, like humans and dogs and stuff.

I associate cow manure with one the many downsides of spring/summer. People like to fertilize with it. I know it works well, but why don't they try to cover up the smell?

I guess whatever floats your boat. You say it reminds you of home so, did you grow up on a farm?
