Is it normal to like the smell of brand new shoes?

New shoes... aaahhh. One of the best smells!!

Yeah. Same with new car smell.

I enjoy it too. Not to the point of going into a shoe store just to smell them but to atleast feel nice if I happen to be in one.

Perfectly normal... I love the smell of new text books. It's the newness that gets you, probably the smell of the leather... (on the shoes, not the books)

I love the smell of newness. New car, new book, new clothes,etc. That smell is lovely:)

I love the smell of my socks that need to be laundered....no,they dont smell bad.They smell like crisp,fresh tropical fruits mixed with light white florals and faint breezy sandalwoods.Thats how good they smell...

I do too! And the new videogame smell also.

I smell ANY and EVERYTHING thats brand new! Anything I buy gets the sniff treatment... but that doesn't mean I LIKE it!!
