Is it normal to like the smell of basements?

Every time I walk into a basement, I just love the smell. It just always makes me smile, and I want to stay in the basement for ever. It makes me feel so stupid when I'm in someone else's basement and always takes a deep breath and want to get high on the old basement smell. I always have to make up excuses like having astma, etc.
