Is it normal to like the name kermit?

I would never name my son this. The name is obviously no longer usuable due to Kermit the Frog but if it weren't for the frog I think this name is very masculine sounding. I picture a handsome tall man named this. I think it is a very nice sounding name.

    It is a very nice name. However, I just doesn't strike me as being masculine. When I think of the name, I keep seeing a male jazz musician.

    You have opened my eyes to the beauty of this name. I've always hated it because of the frog puppet associated with it, but take it out of that context and it sounds like the name of a Roman warrior. Thank you for breaking that stereotype for me, and I mean that. Kermit the frog should have just been Herbert the frog because I dislike that name regardless and it sounds more froggy anyway.
