Is it normal to like the feeling of hunger?

I love the feeling of being extremely hungry before I eat. Then I eat massive amounts of food! I feel like it makes the food taste better.... Is this normal?

No, I don't think that is normal to enjoy the feeling of not eating. Enjoying the feeling you get when you eat something after not eating, however, is.

Yes, I have done that (wait till I feel really hungry to eat), but no..if you are binging..don't care how hungry you are..don't think it's good for you..heart, liver, brain, arteries, pancreas..etc. I have gone on plenty of binges..but since I stopped doing that..and stopped exercising manically..my weight, vitals, and migraines are MUCH more manageable.

    • Not binging, don't you have to throw up to do that? I have only thrown up once in my life, like 6 years ago when I was really sick.

No, bingeing is just comsuming large amounts of food; you're thinking of bulimia. If you enjoy it, that's probably a sign that that's not what it is - people who binge often feel like they have no control over the amount they eat and usually feel terrible afterwards. That doesn't mean it's good, though; eating large amounts on a regular basis can cause loads of long-term health issues.
