So I meant my dad's friend and he is a nice man in 18 and I think he is in his 20s I like him he is a nice man but I would like to date him but in scared if I should or not

The older you both get, the less it'll matter. This isn't that big of a difference either.
It's ok to date him as long as you're 18. The age gap is not that big, go for it.
